Job description

Job Summary

As a Skynet Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to the timely receiving and delivery of packages from suppliers and picking, packing, and shipping products using designated logistics providers/freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery to our customers.

This is a part-time role based in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming packages from suppliers, including piece count and paperwork per FAA guidelines. Training will be provided.

  • Sort and move small packages within the warehouse for stocking or shipping.

  • Execute unfulfilled orders, including picking, packing, paperwork, and printing shipping labels.

  • Check all outbound documentation and capture images/ proof of shipment.

  • Perform periodic inventory count and product documentation.

  • Report to position on time, as scheduled, including overtime requirements, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.

  • Complete the required computer-based and on the job training.

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards.

  • Perform all functions in accordance with safety procedures and policies.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent required.

  • Fluency or comfort with learning e-commerce software is required.

  • One year of previous warehouse and/or material handling experience preferred.

  • Must possess a valid US driver's license.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

  • The job is performed in a warehouse/operations environment.

  • Frequently exposed to fast-moving material handling equipment or other mechanical equipment.

  • Must have the ability to work a varying schedule which might include shift work (days or nights), weekdays or weekends, and some holidays.

  • Work hours may vary or change based on customer orders, departmental or business requirements.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, multiple times a day.

  • Able to walk and stand for designated work hours. Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.

  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, rain, wind, and snow.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23 per hour

Expected hours: 20-25 hours per week

Work Location: On-site near Seattle, WA.

Schedule: Flexible between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM PST. Overtime available.
