About the Position
Our ideal candidate is comfortable performing physical exams to determine if the patient is suitable for outpatient surgery, preparing patients for surgery, creating a safe and effective environment as well as promoting health and well-being. This is a fast paced, minimally invasive eye surgery role.
What do we look for?
  • Prepare patient for surgery
  • Verify patient information by interviewing patient, reviewing medical history, taking vital signs, confirming purpose of visit
  • Complete physical exams to determine patient eligibility prior to outpatient surgery
  • Educate patients as needed
  • Complete records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results

Qualifications:
  • Licensed within the state of Florida to practice
  • Availability Monday-Friday with a 7am start time
  • Ophthalmology experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate attention to detail
  • Must have knowledge of EHR, Excel and Word documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Ability to maintain discretion, accuracy, and confidentiality with all patients
  • Must be able to frequently stand, sit, and walk
  • Computer skills
