Achievement Behavior Services (ABS) is a leading ABA therapy agency providing in-home and community-based services to children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Since 2015, we’ve proudly served families across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, helping learners ages 3–17 develop communication, independence, and confidence through evidence-based ABA therapy.

Job Summary

We are currently hiring dedicated and compassionate ABA Behavior Technicians / ABA Therapists in Staten Island, NY.

As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children diagnosed with autism, implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs designed and supervised by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will play a key role in helping children achieve meaningful goals, learn new skills, and make lasting progress at home and in the community.

10302, 10303, 10306, 10310, 10312, and 10314

Sample cases include:

  • 10 y/o Male – Mon/Wed/Fri, 3:30–6:30 PM (10302)

  • 5 y/o Female – Mon/Tue 4–6 PM (home); Wed–Fri 4–6 PM (10303)

  • 18 y/o Male – Mon & Fri, 4–7 PM (10306)

  • 5 y/o Male – Tue/Wed/Thu, 5:30–7:30 PM or 6–8 PM (10310)

  • 11 y/o Male – Mon–Wed, 5–7 PM; Thu, 4–6 PM (10312)

  • 5 y/o Male – Mon–Fri, 2–6 PM (10312)

  • 6 y/o Female – Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat (10314)

  • 9 y/o Male – Mon–Fri, 3–6 PM (10314)

  • 6 y/o Male – Tue & Wed, 3:30–6 PM (10314)

Responsibilities
  • Implement ABA therapy sessions according to individualized treatment plans

  • Collect accurate data and track progress during each session

  • Follow the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) under BCBA supervision

  • Reinforce positive behaviors and teach new skills through play-based learning

  • Communicate regularly with supervisors and family members

Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (required)

  • Coursework or degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or a related field (preferred)

  • Reliable, punctual, and passionate about helping others

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Willingness to complete RBT training, CPR certification, and Mandated Reporter training
