Position Overview

As a Behavior Technician at Theracare Connecticut, you will work directly with children and young adults, primarily in home settings, with occasional assignments in daycares. You will implement behavior intervention plans, promote skill development, and collect data to track client progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Provide 1:1 therapy to youth (ages 1-21) primarily in home settings, with occasional assignments in schools and daycares.
  • Collect and track data on client progress and behavior.
  • Reinforce skills in socialization, communication, daily living, and academic tasks.
  • Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to ensure consistency and progress.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training sessions with a BCBA.
