About the Role
We are seeking a part-time, non-exempt Administrative Assistant to support our Grapevine office. This role offers high flexibility, with approximately 6-12 hours per week spread across multiple days during standard business hours.
This position is ideal for someone looking for a flexible schedule-such as a stay-at-home parent, student, or anyone wanting to stay engaged in the workplace while maintaining other priorities.
What You'll Do
This role supports the day-to-day operations of the office and helps keep things running smoothly. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Schedule and coordinate vendors (maintenance, shredding, housekeeping, etc.) and assist with contract tracking
  • Maintain awareness of employee presence in the office and support general office security practices
  • Occasionally travel locally within the DFW Metroplex to deliver or pick up documents and assist with interoffice needs (mileage reimbursed)
  • Manage office supplies, snacks, and common areas to ensure a clean and organized workspace
  • Assist with onboarding by welcoming new hires and helping them get familiar with the office
  • Maintain petty cash and receipts in coordination with Accounting

What We're Looking For
We require:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with ability to travel locally during business hours
It helps to have:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and comfortable working independently
  • Personable and service-oriented, with a knack for helping others and keeping things running smoothly

Physical Requirements
This position is primarily sedentary, with extended periods of sitting and computer use. Occasional walking, bending, reaching, and lifting to 25 lbs. may be required.
Schedule
  • Part-time, non-exempt position
  • Approximately 6-12 hours per week, with a flexible schedule during standard business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM)
  • Specific schedule can be coordinated, however, we are looking for someone who can dedicate hours over 2-4 days instead of one full day.

Benefits
This position is not eligible for traditional benefits but may be eligible for participation in the 401(k) plan with company matching.
Why BHB?
