  • Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities
  • This position serves as an on-site administrative representative.
  • They will facilitate communication and problem resolution among hospital staff, medical staff and regulatory agencies.
  • This person routinely rounds through hospital departments, coordinating human resources necessary for hospital functioning and patient care.
  • They will enforce organizational policies consistent with administrative guidelines and consultation obtained from the administrator on call.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an NLN/AACN-accredited program in nursing
  • Two (2) years of successful leadership experience required.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience within the assigned service area is required.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with NJ Board of Nursing
  • PVMC accepts resuscitation skills certification issued by the American/Heart Association (AHA) and AHA – AHA-authorized training centers. Only certification cards issued by ARC and AHA are acceptable proofs of certification and the following active certifications are required upon hire:
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
  • ACLS certification through AHA
  • PALS certification through AHA

Preferred Job Requirements: 

  • Experience with patient safety best practices

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
