Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Association Associate to support day-to-day operations across member services, communications, and program administration. This fully remote role requires availability for four in-person NY State conferences per year. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Fully remote with occasional in-person attendance at NY State conferences (approximately four times per year)
This job will be Monday to Thursday from 9am to 3pm EST.
Key Responsibilities
Member Services & Communications
  • Serve as the front-facing point of contact for member inquiries, answering calls, vetting inquiries, and forwarding messages to the appropriate team members.
  • Respond to association information requests and notifications.
  • Manage radiography applications.
  • Update and maintain membership rosters and member profiles within membership-database platforms (training provided).
  • Update and maintain leadership rosters and association calendars.
  • Update and maintain multiple email listservs and contact lists, including adding/removing members, posting messages, and monitoring bounce-back emails to resolve delivery issues.

Programs, Events & Continuing Education
  • Set up virtual meetings and events in Zoom; disseminate meeting and event-access information and reminders; poll Board Members and volunteers for availability; and help to kick off and/or run Zoom meetings as needed.
  • Generate CECH letters for all continuing education activities; access shared drive to respond directly to CECH letter requests.
  • Attend in-person NY State conferences approximately four times per year.

Content, Marketing & Digital Presence
  • Format and publish content for weekly newsletters under supervision of the Membership Manager.
  • Schedule, create, and publish social media posts via Buffer.
  • Create and schedule text message member updates.
  • Regularly update website content.
  • Work on other projects as directed by the team.
