Our client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Part Time Substance Abuse Counselor in the South Plainfield, NJ area.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Conducts assessments and develops a service plan
* Provide counseling treatment
* Facilitate individual or group therapies in home with youth and families
* Conducts treatment plans for individual, and/or groups
* Schedule intakes and appointments in a timely fashion
* Provide ongoing assesments for saftey risks and utilize interventions to mitigate saftey issues.
* Provides Psycho-education on harm reduction
CLIENT'S SCHEDULE FOR THE OPPORTUNITY
* upto 25 Hours per week - Schedule is flexible in both morning and evening hours
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Must have LCADC, CADC or CADC Intern License or status in the state of NJ
* TB, Physical, MMR Titers or Vaccination Record
* Background Check
* Must meet the License(s) requirement
* Must have experience working with the drug and alcohol population
