Job description

Description Salary Information: Minimum for Academic Year 2026-2027, $2,053 per credit hour, commensurate with education and experience. Other Conditions: For lecturer applicant pool, part-time, pending availability of funds and actual staffing requirements. Courses may be taught during the day, evening, weekend, or online.

Duties and Responsibilities Teach assigned courses in Accounting such as Governmental Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Auditing, Corporate and Partnership Taxation, Individual Taxation, Intermediate Accounting, Intro to Financial or Managerial Accounting, and Cost Accounting. Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught. Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.

Work under supervision of division chair in integrating teaching efforts with other instructors in discipline area. As needed, work with multi-media presentation, distance education instruction, and teaching at off-campus sites. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a Master's degree in Accounting, a related discipline or current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Professional experience in Accounting Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
