M & R CPAs, LLP is a small-sized CPA firm. We are seeking an Accountant to add to our team. This position is for part-time per diem or full-time. Salary to be negotiated based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and enter client data into tax prep software
  • Ensure client confidentiality by following all company procedures regarding information handling
  • Meet client service expectations through the efficient, timely and accurate completion of the assigned tasks
  • Communicate interactively with engagement team members
  • Provide backup to support the team, when necessary
  • Maintain and expand knowledge base in area of expertise

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1.5 years experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of basic financial and accounting concepts involved in tax return preparation and financial statements, preferred
  • A professional demeanor and the ability to handle matters confidentially
