With flexible scheduling of 20-30 hours per week, this position can be a strong fit for an accountant looking for additional flexibility while continuing to work in a hands-on accounting role. Job Description: We are seeking a Part-Time Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations for a manufacturing environment. This position will contribute to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and month-end and year-end close processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting processes and be able to quickly step into an established environment with minimal ramp-up time. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Review accounting transactions for accuracy and completeness. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities as needed. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Assist with timely and accurate financial reporting. Enter and maintain financial information within the ERP system.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and obtain necessary information. Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications: At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Previous accounts payable and accounts receivable experience. Strong understanding of core accounting processes and the ability to quickly learn established procedures.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, or a similar ERP system. Experience with general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
