We are seeking a Part-Time Academic Coach to join our Cardinal Learning Commons team and help students thrive academically. In this role, you will provide one-on-one and small group coaching sessions, guiding students to become independent, confident learners. Academic Coaches play a vital role in helping students identify strengths, overcome barriers, and develop strategies for success - whether through time management, study skills, growth mindset, or building supportive academic habits. You'll also promote deeper engagement with faculty, refer students to campus or community resources when appropriate, and maintain accurate records of coaching sessions.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can connect with students in a supportive, encouraging way. The ideal candidate is empathetic, flexible, and able to adapt coaching methods to meet a variety of learning styles. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a consistent schedule are key to success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years full-time equivalent related experience OR an Associate's degree and four years full-time equivalent related experience required.

Starting pay range: $20 - $26

Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: up to 19.5 hrs per week 
2 positions available
1: evening & weekend hours, Mon-Thurs 5:00-8:00pm, Sun 12:00-6:00pm 
2: daytime, weekday hours
