At the level of Principal EEG Technologist it is expected that the individual show self-direction and This is a part-time EEG technologist position at telemetry EEG lab at the UCLA Medical Centers. This position may require you to rotate to other and our future UCLA sites as well. It is expected that the individual be capable of performing routine and long-term EEG setup, with minimal supervision. The basic rudiments of EEG acquisition should be second nature. Artifact detection/elimination skills should be adequate. The technologist should be able to describe EEG findings in a review style format, to assist physicians in preparing EEG data, and to be flexible enough to learn new protocols i.e. Adult and Pediatric Telemetries, ICU continuous EEG, Outpatient, Portable Studies. May provide support at our Ronald Reagan, Santa Monica and West Valley Medical Hospitals.
A minimum of three years of experience in the related fields is required for the Principle EEG title. Those who do not meet those requirements will be considered for the EEG Technologist or Senior Technologist title based on credentials.

  • Salary Range Senior EEG Tech: $45.06 - $59.45
  • Salary Range: Principle EEG Tech: $59.64 - $78.69

  • Eligible for an ABRET EEG Pathway through a Neurodiagnostic program

As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
