Alongside our manufacturing work, we also support advanced AI development by training and preparing high-quality data used in next-generation AI systems. The Position:
Mark-One Solutions is currently looking for part-time 3D Print Lab Technician(s). This is a great opportunity for a 3D Hobbyist that wants to turn their hobby into a paying job! The expectation is that real growth is on the horizon so opportunities at Mark-One Solutions will be in play.
This role will be working during the daytime or evenings, up to 40 hours per week - we are very flexible!
Overview:
We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented 3D Print Lab Technician(s) to support the daily operations of a growing 3D printing production environment. Candidates must have basic 3D printing skills, IT skills, strong attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor multiple 3D printers to ensure continuous and successful production.
  • Perform routine maintenance: cleaning print beds, replacing nozzles, loading filament, and calibrating equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot common print issues, restarting failed jobs as needed.
  • Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality.
  • Package completed products for shipment, including labeling and preparing outgoing orders.
  • Ship orders using standard carriers and company processes.
  • Assemble and build racks, shelving, and organizational systems as needed to support production.
  • Track materials and filament inventory; assist with restocking and preparation.
  • Maintain documentation for print jobs, maintenance, and production workflow.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe workspace.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members about production status, issues, and process improvements.

Education & Experience
  • Experience with 3D printing, makerspace tools, or slicing software (Cura, PrusaSlicer, etc.).
  • Basic IT competency (comfortable with computers, device connections, simple software interfaces, basic troubleshooting).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Background in production, warehouse, or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with packaging, shipping, or logistics processes.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to ~50 lbs.
