LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450; Rochester City School District, Various Locations
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Part time - three days per week for 10 months
STARTING DATE: September 2026
SALARY RATE: $90.00 per hour
DUTIES:
1. Perform physical examinations, in accordance with the law, regulation and school district policy primarily for sport participation and NYS mandated grade levels.
2. Provides physical examinations for children that may be indicated after referral from education personnel.
3. Consultation with health offices staff and referral to primary care providers for management and specified guidelines in such areas as asthma, certification for sports and communicable disease and diabetic management.
4. Consult with School Nurses as needed.
5. Collaborate with District Physician, Athletic Directors, School Health Services staff on program protocol and/or development.
6. Provide oversight of concussion management program.
7. Assist with assessment and training programs for school health services staff.
8. Participates in school initiatives that impact school age children and/or school health services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Possession of a valid NYS License and current Registration required.
2. AED/CPR Certification required.
3. School Health or Pediatric experience preferred.
4. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
