**WHAT YOU'LL DO

**As a Parts Runner, you are the backbone of our mobile operations. Our technicians can only do their best work when they have what they need, when they need it — and that's where you come in.

  • Safely deliver truck and van parts to mobile service technicians throughout the Dallas metro area and surrounding regions (typical radius: 10–30 miles, may vary)
  • Pick up parts from vendors and suppliers as needed — accuracy and urgency on every run
  • Verify parts accuracy before every delivery — right part, right tech, every time
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and organization between deliveries (no oil spills, proper parts storage)
  • Assist with inventory organization, restocking, and parts receiving
  • Keep the company vehicle clean, fueled, and well-maintained
  • Navigate the Dallas/Fort Worth area efficiently, managing routes and time windows
  • Communicate professionally with technicians, service coordinators, and customers
  • Uphold Transwest's standards of professionalism, punctuality, and reliability on every shift

**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Parts Runner, delivery driver, or similar driving/logistics role
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record —** required**
  • Strong knowledge of the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize on the fly
  • High attention to detail in delivery accuracy and shop organization
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
  • Professional, calm, and team-oriented attitude
  • Must pass a background check, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) review, and pre-employment drug screening

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting technicians in a mobile, fleet, or truck repair environment
  • Familiarity with truck, diesel, or heavy-duty vehicle parts
  • Comfortable using navigation tools and basic dispatch/communication apps

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Comfortable loading and unloading parts from a company vehicle throughout the day
