About the Role
Degree Heating & Cooling is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Parts Runner to support our field teams by quickly and safely transporting materials and equipment to and from vendors, job sites, and our office. In this essential role, you'll work closely with our Dispatcher and Install Manager to ensure timely deliveries and real-time communication regarding your location and progress.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Pick up and return equipment or materials from vendors and deliver to job sites or office as needed
  • Replenish technician bins with materials
  • Manage disposal and scrapping of replaced equipment, turning funds into the Accounting Manager
  • Assist with fleet upkeep including oil changes, washing, and basic maintenance

  • Strong communication skills-both written and verbal
  • A valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR), as determined by company policy

Working Conditions / Physical Demands
  • Safety must be a top priority, with general knowledge of safe work practices and OSHA guidelines
  • Regular physical activity including sitting, standing, walking, stooping, and using hands for various tasks
  • Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and endure varying temperatures (both hot and cold)
  • Must be able to consistently lift and carry 50+ lbs
  • Must be willing to work outdoors year-round in changing weather conditions
