Ember Management Group is hiringPastry Cooksto join the opening culinary team forBuccan, Imoto, and The Sandwich Shopin Coral Gables. This is a hands-on position for cooks with a passion for pastry, baking, and dessert production in a fast-paced, scratch kitchen environment.

Pastry Cooks are responsible for preparing pastry and dessert components according to established recipes and standards, maintaining production pars, and supporting daily service with clean, organized workstations. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and pride in craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare pastry and dessert components according to recipes, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Assist with production of desserts, baked goods, doughs, creams, sauces, and garnishes.
  • Maintain assigned pastry prep pars for daily service.
  • Accurately measure ingredients and follow standardized recipes.
  • Set up, stock, clean, and organize pastry prep stations.
  • Safely operate and clean kitchen equipment including mixers, ovens, sheeters, food processors, and smallware's.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Practice proper food handling, storage, labeling, and rotation.
  • Support pastry chefs and kitchen leadership as needed.
