Job description

The Town of Holly Springs Parks & Recreation Department is hiring a part-time park maintenance assistant to join the park maintenance team. This position performs a variety of skilled tasks to maintain Town parks, athletic fields, and greenways.

Key Responsibilities Perform grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing. Line athletic fields for practices and games. Assist with construction and repair projects such as fencing, boardwalks, and trails.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and motorized equipment. Support setup and cleanup for Town events and programs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).

Valid North Carolina driver's license. At least two years of experience in park maintenance, landscaping, or related work. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Weekend shifts may be required for events or tournaments. Position Details Part-time, up to 19 hours per week (1,000 hours per year). Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m

Pay range: $12.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.
