Are you an experienced operations leader who thrives in the field, keeps teams on task, and knows what it takes to keep a parking system running smoothly? Join our team as the next On-Site Parking Manager — the operational heartbeat behind our municipal parking program.

About the Role

As the On-Site Parking Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a large-scale on-street parking and collections program serving the City of St. Louis. You’ll lead a dedicated team responsible for smart meter maintenance, collections, and field response ensuring uptime, safety, and accountability across all zones.

This is a hands-on, middle-management position ideal for someone who combines strong leadership, operational discipline, and a customer-service mindset.

What You will Do

· Lead and motivate field teams responsible for collections, meter maintenance, and special projects.

· Set daily goals and performance standards to ensure operational efficiency.

· Oversee smart meter and pay-station maintenance — monitor uptime and preventive service schedules.

· Ensure secure and compliant collections procedures, including chain-of-custody and reporting.

· Collaborate with city departments, vendors, and internal teams to resolve field issues quickly.

· Track and report daily metrics such as revenue, response times, and maintenance performance.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment that reflects the City’s standards of excellence.

What We Are Looking For

· 3+ years of experience in municipal, commercial, or public parking operations

· Strong leadership and communication skills — able to set expectations and drive results.

· Familiarity with smart parking meters, pay stations, and collections processes.

· Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving and team-building ability

· Experience managing vendors or city contracts preferred.

· Airport or large-venue operations experience is a plus.

· Operations, technical, and maintenance skills are a plus.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and parking management systems

· Valid Class E Driver’s license required.

· Degree or Trade degree preferred but not required.

· Experience and performance matter most.
