Job Description

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE/Pardot), Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP), and Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360),Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect Job Duties - We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect to support marketing automation execution and platform optimization for a global B2B marketing ecosystem.

The role will act as the primary technical interface between marketing stakeholders and offshore campaign operations teams, translating campaign requirements into scalable marketing automation solutions.

The architect will work across Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE/Pardot), Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP), and Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) to drive campaign orchestration, audience activation, and platform best practices.

The individual will also contribute to platform optimization and application rationalization initiatives across the marketing technology stack.

Job Requirements - Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical execution of marketing automation initiatives across MCAE, MCP, and Data Cloud environments.
  • Configure and manage MCAE campaigns, Engagement Studio journeys, automation rules, scoring models, and lifecycle programs.
  • Build and manage segmentation logic, dynamic lists, suppression rules, and audience targeting for marketing campaigns.
  • Support Data Cloud audience activation and segmentation alignment with MCAE campaigns and MCP behavioral triggers.
  • Implement campaign hierarchy standards, folder structures, reusable templates, and automation frameworks.
  • Support campaign operations including campaign setup, deployment coordination, and troubleshooting across marketing platforms.
  • Monitor and manage email deliverability including IP warming, sender reputation monitoring, bounce handling, and spam mitigation.
  • Implement email validation, suppression management, and best practices for marketing email infrastructure.
  • Support personalization use cases through MCP including behavioral triggers and event-based engagement.
  • Evaluate current marketing platform capabilities and support application rationalization and optimization initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance to offshore campaign operations teams responsible for campaign builds, asset configuration, and QA validation.
  • Act as the primary onsite liaison with marketing stakeholders, supporting campaign planning and issue resolution during EST timezone.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE / Pardot).
  • Experience configuring Engagement Studio journeys, automation rules, scoring models, dynamic lists, and campaign hierarchies.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud (Data360) and audience activation concepts.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP) or behavioral marketing platforms.
  • Understanding of email deliverability best practices including IP warming, sender reputation, bounce management, and email validation.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) architecture and marketing automation ecosystem.
  • Experience working in high-volume campaign operations environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with distributed delivery teams (onsite + offshore).

Certifications (Required)

  • Candidates should hold relevant Salesforce certifications such as: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Specialist Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator or Consultant Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant (preferred)
