Notice for paraprofessional positions: All paraprofessional candidates must hold an Illinois license- PEL, or paraprofessional. The Kane County Regional Office of Education has updated the Paraprofessional License requirements. Non-qualified candidates can apply for a Short-Term Approval license that will allow them to work and be valid for three years. The requirement is now a high school diploma or its equivalent.
