INITIAL ASSIGNMENT: Goffstown High School
HOURS TO BE WORKED: 6.75 hrs/day, Monday - Friday, 33.75 hrs/week, 192 days/year with 9 paid holidays
RANGE OF PAY: Non-Certified $18.36 - $22.82
Certified $20.07 - $24.95
While we do have some 1:1 paraprofessional positions, to assist students such as those in our life skills program, most of the paraprofessionals at GHS provide assistance in classrooms, working with small groups of students. Paraprofessionals are assigned a class schedule of content classes, or prep/study halls. Responsibilities include aiding small groups of students who need additional support with class content, and implementing educational plans as directed by teachers. This may include helping students with their notes, to stay focused and organized, or to assist with accommodations during testing. Additionally, you may be involved in monitoring students during lunch, recess, or other non-instructional times.
