Job description

What You'll be Doing:

  • Supporting the counselor with student assessment, technical services, disseminating information and student personal/social needs
  • Communicating with staff and parents
  • Supporting the counselor with assessment tasks and small group instruction


What We Offer:

  • Salary: $19.25 - $25.27 per hour (depending on experience)
  • M/D/V insurance, Life insurance, Retirement benefits, Paid sick leave and Paid time off and/or vacation.


Job Details: 

  • Working days: 5 days per week / 180 days per year
  • Hours per day: 6.5
  • Temporary: 8/20/2026-6/8/2027


What You'll Need:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Job related experience is desired. Experience with RaaWee & state testing protocols and proctoring.
  • Minimum qualifications: Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must meet the minimum requirement for a paraprofessional (Hold an associates of arts degree, have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at an institution of higher learning or have passed the state paraeducator assessment). Bilingual Preferred.

Work Environment 
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 30% sitting, 35% walking, and 35% standing.  The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
