Position: Workers’ Compensation Paralegal
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Lexington, South Carolina (on-site work required)
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling workers’ compensation matters, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage a busy caseload while providing excellent support to attorneys and clients.


Responsibilities

  • Assist attorney with workers’ compensation cases from intake through resolution.
  • Maintain and organize case files, calendars, deadlines, and hearing dates.
  • Prepare correspondence, pleadings, discovery, forms, and other legal documents.
  • Obtain and organize medical records, employment records, and other case documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, insurance carriers, and other parties.
  • Assist with hearing and deposition preparation.
  • Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely filings.
  • Provide clients with case updates and respond to routine questions.
  • Perform additional administrative and litigation-support duties as needed.


Qualifications

  • Prior workers’ compensation (preferred) or personal injury legal experience.
  • At least two years of paralegal experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional.
  • Comfortable communicating with clients and handling confidential information.
