About the Role:
Lawson Law Firm PC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our boutique personal injury practice in Lawrenceville, GA. The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working as a personal injury paralegal.  The candidate must be a self-starter who is highly motivated, reliable, seeking stability and career growth, friendly and personable with clients, and trustworthy.  The candidate must be able to manage all aspects of a personal injury case from intake to closure, provide detailed reports to management, be organized, and possess great knowledge of our cases. Candidate must be a team player.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, legal research, and document drafting
  • Organize and maintain case files, legal documents, and client records
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents under attorney supervision
  • Coordinate and schedule client meetings, depositions, and court appearances
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar platforms
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • File documents with courts electronically and in person as needed
  • Oversee and organize the medical treatment, including records and bills for clients
  • Be proficient in Filevine or have experience in a similar personal injury case management system
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field preferred
  • Prior internship or experience in a law firm or legal setting is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Familiarity with legal research tools and court filing procedures is a plus
  • Professional demeanor with a client-focused attitude
