HIGHLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Description:
Paraeducators to work supporting students during whole and small group instruction as well as working with individual children throughout the day. Responsibilities include supervising lunch and recess and accompanying students to specials (art, music). Experience working with grades K - 3 students is necessary and an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices is desirable. Other tasks as needed to support classroom instruction under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
Supervised By:
Special Education Supervisor and/or the School Principal.
Qualifications:
High school diploma. Two years of higher education preferred.
Salary:
In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and CSEA/SEIU Local 2001/760 in Behalf of the Cheshire Paraeducators and Lunchroom/Playground Aides. Starting Salary $18.63/hr. Benefits Available.
