About the Opportunity:

Pursuit Aerospace specializes in the manufacturing of complex fabricated and precision-machined components for gas turbine engines. We serve global customers across commercial and military aviation, power generation, marine industries, rotary wing, and unmanned aerial vehicles.

We are currently seeking a Deburr Technician to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and precision of machined parts by grinding, polishing, and cleaning components to meet specified requirements and tolerances.


Location: Morton, IL.


Responsibilities:

  • Deburr and grind parts to specification using established procedures, machines, and tooling.
  • Perform rework assignments as required.
  • Provide quality feedback to CNC machinists.
  • Ensure all documentation and paperwork related to parts is completed accurately.
  • Enter data into required systems or records.
  • Use measuring and gauging instruments to verify part quality.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure it meets required specifications.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to support inspection accuracy, ensure compliance with aerospace cleanliness standards, and promote overall workplace efficiency.
  • Wash and clean parts according to established procedures to meet required cleanliness and quality standards.


Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in deburring precision parts.
  • Working knowledge of inspection and gauging techniques.
  • Ability to complete documentation and follow standardized procedures accurately.


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
  • Visual acuity for precision inspection tasks.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, light oil exposure, and frequent use of gloves or safety glasses.
