Job description

Position: Quality Technician
Employee Type: Full-Time (1st shift)

Responsibilities:
โ€ข Test and inspect product at various stages of production process
โ€ข Process, compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products
โ€ข Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards
โ€ข Possess strong communication skills with the ability to train others
โ€ข Review Spec Sheets to determine if the product is meeting the customer specifications.
โ€ข Ensure proper documentation on all customer returns through final disposition
โ€ข Complete receiving inspection
โ€ข Conduct Quality Tests as required
โ€ข Work with plant personnel to prevent rejects form reoccurring
โ€ข Complete miscellaneous projects as assigned by supervisor and or manager
โ€ข Continuous learning and willingness to seek personal growth
โ€ข Demonstrate attention to detail
Qualifications:
โ€ข Possess strong communication skills with the ability to train others
โ€ข Knowledge and application of SPC is a plus
โ€ข Good PC, data entry and ability to work in spreadsheets
โ€ข Possess a positive can-do attitude, demonstrating a proactive instead of reactive approach
โ€ข Possess a willingness to learn and seek personal growth
โ€ข Ability to stoop, bend, and twist repetitively
โ€ข Ability to lift to and including 50 lbs
