Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Metals Department Manger, the inside sales position primarily processes the customer orders by entering the order into the Company’s software system, scheduling deliveries, ordering stock items, problem solving and providing good customer service.

- Take customer orders by phone, email, fax or in person
- Write up customer orders in QuickBooks
- Assist customers with product information, orders, and other questions

Work Environment
This position functions in a fast-paced office environment where attention to detail is a must and the ability to focus on the customer order is critical to avoid error in customer billing or manufacturing of their product.
Physical Demands
This role is largely sedentary – spending long hours on the phone and in front of the computer.
Travel
No out of town travel is expected for this position
Required Education and Experience
Preferred Education and Experience
- One-year related experience
- Working knowledge of Paradigm and Excel
- Knowledge of Construction Industry
