Job description

Coordinates Preschool LifeGroups forthree and four-year-olds at Prestonwood Baptist Church - North Campus ("PBC-NC").

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and oversee Preschool volunteer teams for LifeGroups (three and four-year-olds)
  • Plan and coordinate Preschool special events (i.e. Parents Night Out and Hosanna Parade) with the Preschool team
  • Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
  • Coordinate LifeGroup classrooms (three and four-year-olds)
  • Train, encourage, and equip volunteer teams
  • Purchase and prepare items for Sundays in Preschool
  • Assist in onboarding of volunteers at Kidz Central when scheduled
  • Schedule LifeGroup substitutes when scheduled
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC-NC
  • Must have a passion for children
  • Experience in recruiting volunteers preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Able to work Sundays and some hours every other Friday and Saturday, with flexibility for weekday shifts; able to cover some Wednesday nights when needed
  • Able to perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, use of stairs, and able to occasionally lift up to 30 Ibs.
