Job Title – SAP PaPM

Location: Remote

Contract Type: W2

  • Successfully completed 2-3 end-to-end SAP implementations using SAP PaPM
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 FPSL & PaPM
  • Expertise in the integration between the S/4HANA Finance
  • The candidate will work closely with business and IT teams to support financial modeling, cost allocations, and profitability analysis using SAP PaPM
  • Integration with PaPM & FI, architect the data model in PaPM, support integration discussions, guide on standard capabilities in PaPM, and drive design of the business rules
  • Led PaPM implementation from Blueprint through Go-live and Hypercare. Designed and developed with focus on Quality, Usability, and Sustainability of the solution
  • Lead in defining the data model in PaPM, support integration discussions, guide on standard capabilities in PaPM, and drive design of the business rules
  • Develop and maintain financial data models, ensuring data integrity and flow within PaPM. Integrate PaPM with other SAP systems like S/4HANA and BW, as well as external data sources
  • Exposure to interfacing with non-SAP systems & mapping the user requirements. Lead the onsite and offshore team

  • Prepared and ran demos leveraging SAP PaPM based on relevant use cases.
  • Functional end-to-end process in Allocations, Product Pricing & Costing, Profitability & Cost Management, Predictions & Simulations, Reconciliations.
  • Performed What-If analysis on important business drivers for profitability analysis and decision-making.
  • Expertise in data modeling, building and extending models, allocation/calculation functions, query function, parameters, performing ad-hoc simulations, activity-based costing, and top-down distribution.
  • Developed and implemented performance metrics, KPIs, and profitability models. Created and maintained reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance.
  • Provided ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting for existing PaPM configurations.
  • Ensured knowledge transfer from the client team and built and maintained a knowledge database for the new team.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
  • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • The role may require travel to project locations.
