Job description

Paper Roll Packager

Pay Rate: $15.00–$17.00/hour (Depending on Experience)
Shift: Monday -Friday 8am-5pm (Overtime)

Fast Staff is looking for reliable and hardworking Paper Roll Packagers to join a growing manufacturing team! If you have warehouse or production experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Package finished paper rolls according to customer specifications and work orders.
  • Apply labels with accurate product information (SKU, size, lot number, etc.).
  • Install core plugs, end caps, and protective materials.
  • Wrap paper rolls using kraft paper, stretch wrap, poly, or boxes.
  • Inspect rolls for quality, damage, and correct sizing.
  • Verify roll specifications, including width, diameter, and quantity.
  • Palletize finished products and prepare shipments.
  • Complete production paperwork and packing documentation.
  • Use scanners or ERP systems to confirm inventory transactions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.


Qualifications:

  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read work orders and product labels.
  • Basic math and measuring skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer or scanner experience preferred.
