Duties & ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Observational Support
  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide respectful, hands-on assistance to patients with everyday needs, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.

  • Clinical Monitoring: Accurately measure, monitor, and record patient vital signs, height, weight, and other key clinical indicators.

  • Vigilant Care: Carefully observe patients and promptly report any changes in physical condition, behavioral health, or medical status to the nursing team.

  • Intake & Transitions: Support the smooth coordination of initial patient intake screenings, internal transfers, and discharge procedures.

  • Procedure Support: Partner with and support nursing staff during routine medical assessments, clinical treatments, and urgent emergency situations.

  • Meticulous Records: Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation of all care provided within electronic or paper medical records.

  • Safety & Security Compliance: Adhere strictly to all facility safety protocols, security procedures, and universal infection control guidelines (including proper PPE usage).

  • Professional Boundaries: Establish and maintain firm, healthy professional boundaries with patients while preserving their comfort and confidentiality under HIPAA regulations.

Required Qualifications
  • Certification: Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice.

  • Life Support: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Environment Comfort: Ability to work effectively, remain calm under stress, and navigate daily interactions comfortably within a secure facility setting.

    • 8-hour AM Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    • 8-hour PM Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

    • 12-hour Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
