Job description

HOURS:

2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday; 2:30pm-12:30am

REPORTS TO: Digital Print Supervisor

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

As a digital print associate, you make the 4imprint brand come alive by printing, finishing and packaging digital print orders and blue box marketing pieces per order specifications.


Here’s what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job). Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
  • Process and fulfill digital orders, including banners, patches, heat transfers, and marketing materials, using various printing and finishing techniques.
  • Operate and maintain digital printers, wide-format printers, laser engravers, plotter cutters, banner welders, Xerox printers, and heat presses.
  • Prepare and verify artwork for printing and engraving using Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, and RIP software, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Select appropriate imprint methods based on artwork, quantity, and fabric type to produce high-quality decorated apparel.
  • Perform pre-press setup, cutting, masking, folding, and packaging of printed materials as directed.
  • Coordinate workflow from order receipt to production completion, meeting customer deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Assist with mailing, labeling, and marketing material preparation, including proofreading and quality checks.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to team members, troubleshooting production issues and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Order outsourced transfers and manage communication with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.
  • Help out in other areas when needed and when time allows.

  • Basic working knowledge of production art, digital decorating and terminology.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator as well as RIP software.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds.
