Job Summary

The Brand & Creative team plays a pivotal role responsible for evolving Palo Alto Networks’ brand into a globally recognized, digital‑first symbol of Trust, Innovation, and AI‑powered security. Reporting into the Brand Director, this Brand manager will drive the flawless execution of the global brand and creative strategy, shaping perception, building durable brand equity, and amplifying the company’s platform vision across all audiences and touchpoints. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless execution of our global brand strategy, creative / campaign development, brand governance, ensuring a cohesive and compelling expression of Palo Alto Networks’ value as it continues its transformation from product‑centric leader to unified, platform‑driven innovator.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leads the execution of global, innovative, and high impact campaigns and programs by being a driver of the work in partnership with teams, and your peers across Marketing.
  • You are equal parts a big brand storyteller and tactical thinker, with deep expertise in campaign & creative development
  • You can write a killer brief and are at home with teams across both creative and media.
  • You are a strong cross‑functional collaborator, and can partner effectively with teams across disciplines including Product Marketing, Media, PR, Legal, Finance and internal/external creative agencies.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Brand & Creative Strategy
  • Drives the flawless execution of the Palo Alto Networks’ global brand strategy, shifting from fragmented product narratives to a cohesive, platform‑level story anchored in trust, innovation, and AI leadership.
  • Drives integrated campaign / creative development against the company’s brand narrative and architecture, ensuring consistent expression across geographies, audiences, and channels.
  • Executes on our full year modern marketing plan
Creative Excellence at Scale
  • Partners with our internal Creative team to execute on our AI‑first creative strategy that balances bespoke, world‑class craft with scalable, repeatable asset production.
  • Leads the execution of our creative strategy and production for integrated, 360‑degree global campaigns, ensuring seamless consistency across awareness, consideration, and demand generation stages of the user journey.
  • Partners closely with working teams across Product Marketing, Media, Events & Comms teams to develop strategically sound marketing briefs that drive our always on creative development process.
Brand Governance & Integrity
  • Ensures our brand standards, visual systems, and tone of voice are executed flawlessly, enabling global teams to execute with speed while maintaining absolute brand integrity.
Thought Leadership & Executive Presence
  • Leads the always on execution of our Palo Alto Networks’ executive thought leadership platform, shaping editorial narratives and flagship content that influence industry dialogue and reinforce the company’s position as a trusted authority.
Measurement & Impact
  • Owns brand health metrics, including awareness, consideration, recall, and sentiment among senior technology and security decision‑makers globally.
  • Leverages data, research, and insight to continuously refine how we work across campaign & creative development
  • Acts as a student that never graduates by driving documented post‑mortems after every major piece of work is launched so we can incorporate those learnings into the way we work next time.
Qualifications
  • 8-10+ years brand marketing experience with a focus on integrated digital creative/campaign development, execution, paid media and experiential within a leading technology environment
  • Proven ability to own campaign development, delivering on anticipated outcomes and shaping corporate & product narratives in creative, customer‑first activations
  • Demonstrated understanding of brand building principles and the consumer journey from awareness to consideration to demand gen.
  • Outstanding creative judgment, and comfortable independently guiding creative teams
  • Proven analytical skills with experience extracting and interpreting campaign performance data
  • Excellent written, verbal communication & organizational skills; ability to articulate brand messages clearly and compellingly
  • A "get things done" creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and continuously pushes the boundaries of traditional enterprise tech marketing.
Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non‑sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com‑missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
