Pants are a type of clothing that cover the lower part of the body from the waist to the ankles, with separate sections for each leg. They are worn by people of all ages and genders and come in various styles, materials, and fits, such as jeans, trousers, and leggings. Pants serve both practical functions, such as protection and warmth, and aesthetic purposes, allowing for personal expression through fashion.

What are some common challenges faced by a patternmaker specializing in pants design?

Patternmakers focusing on pants often encounter challenges such as achieving an optimal fit across various body types, interpreting designer sketches into practical garment patterns, and balancing style with comfort and function. They must collaborate closely with designers, technical developers, and production teams to ensure that prototypes meet both aesthetic and manufacturing requirements. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are essential, as small adjustments in seams or measurements can greatly impact the final product.

Media Buyer / Creative Strategist

Kansas City, MO โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Posted 17 days ago

Job description

Media buying has changed.

In 2026, a great media buyer is not just a button pusher. They understand the full system: creative, offer, conversion rate, platform dynamics, competition, and what to test next.

At Sweat Pants Agency, we are hiring a performance media buyer who can drive growth acrossย Metaย ads for DTC and ecommerce brands.

This role is for someone who can run paid media andย also think like a marketer.

You will build testing roadmaps, guide creative strategy, communicate with clients, and help us scale what works.

If you've built or scaled your own eCommerce brand, we want to hear from you.

If you love following SOPs and repeating the same campaign structure forever, this is not the job.

If you love thinking, testing, and building frameworks that win, keep reading.

Requirements

What You'll Do
  • Own paid media strategy for DTC/eCommerce clientsย across Meta and TikTok
  • Build creative testing roadmapsย - develop angles, write briefs for editors, analyze what's working
  • Manage ad budgetsย ranging from $30k / mo to $1m / mo per client
  • Diagnose the full funnelย - spot whether issues are creative, offer, or conversion
  • Communicate clearly with clientsย - present results, plans, and next steps
  • Work with UGC creatorsย - source talent, write scripts, direct content when needed
You're A Great Fit If...

You have hands-on experience scaling eCommerce brands:

  • You've managed Meta Ads with real spend and can show results (CPA, ROAS, revenue)
  • Bonus: You've built/operated your own Shopify store or eComm brand

You understand creative is the lever:

  • You can pull insights from reviews, competitor ads, and comments to generate new angles
  • You've written UGC scripts or creative briefs
  • You can work with editors to create winning ad variations
  • Video editing or design skills are a plus

You're a strategist, not a robot:

  • You challenge assumptions and adapt fast
  • You don't blindly follow "best practices"
  • You can explain what you're doing and why

You have ownership and urgency:

  • You act like it's your money
  • You move fast and follow through
  • You don't wait to be told what to do

Benefits

Why This Role Is Exciting

This is not a maintenance job. You will be surrounded by people who move fast, care a lot, and take the work seriously.

You will work on real brands with real budgets.ย We test aggressively. We learn quickly. We build frameworks that scale.

You will grow into senior strategy.ย We want people who want more responsibility. If you perform, you will grow.
