With a team of highly skilled tradespeople and laborers, we support your build from the ground up — safely, efficiently, and on time. We take pride in our work with everything we do. From keeping our areas clean to the finishing touches as a project nears completion.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for amazing people to join our team. We have work that will sustain over the winter and longer. We are not looking for people on a contract or short-term basis. However, we are not opposed if someone is only looking for something short term, go ahead and apply. This is a full-time position with BENEFITS! You should be organized, on time, have a solid work ethic, ready to work, and not afraid to get your hands dirty. No job is beneath you.


WHAT THIS JOB IS IN A SNAPSHOT

The Painting Crewmember works closely with the Painting Lead and other SkipCo Leads/Employees, as well as Site Superintendents and General Superintendents to support day-to-day project operations. This role is hands-on, requiring flexibility to perform a variety of tasks that may change daily. The Crewmember will be responsible for traveling to multiple job sites on a weekly or sometimes daily basis to assist with tasks as needed. Key parts of this role are maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in collaboration with site leadership and subcontractors. We are looking for someone that is skilled in painting and understands the basics of painting for residential and commercial projects. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Prepping and maintaining project sites, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness for daily operations
  • Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and evolving to site needs
  • Accurately track and document daily assignments, contributing to clear communication and project progress reporting to upper management
  • Strong ability to be adaptable and multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Maintain and clean shop tools and equipment
  • May assist with light demolition and general site teardown work

  • 3+ years’ proven experience working individually or on a painting crew
  • Strong understanding of what painting materials are used/needed
  • Ability to maintain painting materials inventory using software
  • Experience in basic carpentry, painting, caulking, electrical work, and plumbing is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work in an environment that requires a strong sense of physicality
  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods in various job site environments
  • Physically able to climb ladders, bend, crouch, twist and access confined spaces as needed
  • Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Willing and available to work off-hours, including nights and weekends, to meet project and client needs
