Omni Glass & Paint is hiring a full-time Glazier Apprentice to join our skilled construction team in Oshkosh, WI. Since 1967, we've built a strong reputation across Wisconsin for quality commercial glass installation in schools, hospitals, office buildings, storefronts, and more. We take pride in our craftsmanship and the people who make it possible. If you're a hardworking, detail-oriented individual looking to learn a valuable trade with a trusted company, we want to hear from you.

This full-time apprenticeship offers steady work, competitive pay, on-the-job training, and long-term advancement opportunities. You'll work alongside experienced Glaziers, gaining hands-on skills while contributing to a variety of commercial construction projects.

What You'll Do

You'll learn to work with materials such as glass, composite panels, and polycarbonate while supporting the installation of aluminum storefront and curtain wall framing systems. Your responsibilities will include helping measure and cut materials, preparing work areas, removing old or damaged glass, and sealing and weatherproofing installations. You'll read and follow blueprints and shop drawings, and maintain tools and equipment. Throughout every project, you'll work closely with foremen, project managers, and customers to ensure high-quality results. Safety is essential, and you'll be expected to follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment at all times.

Experience with hand and power tools is required, along with basic math skills and the ability to read ruler measurements. Construction, carpentry, or commercial glass experience is preferred but not required. The ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings is also a plus. Physical strength, stamina, good hand-eye coordination, and a strong commitment to safety are essential. Most importantly, you should be eager to learn, willing to work hard, and ready to contribute to a team-driven environment.
