Anderson Farms is looking for several Seasonal General Store Team Leads for the Fall Festival!
General Store Team Leads provide leadership and support to our retail operations while working alongside team members throughout each shift. Team Leads may be assigned to the General Store, Back Porch (Pumpkin Sizing & Produce), Pumpkinland, Gem Mining, Paintball Shack, or Bear Factory and are responsible for helping ensure each area operates safely, efficiently, and provides an outstanding guest experience.
Team Leads report directly to their Department Manager and help delegate daily tasks, support team members, and resolve guest concerns. This is a hands-on leadership position, and Team Leads are expected to perform the same duties as the employees they supervise.
Duties include but limited to:
  • Be consistently available throughout the Fall Festival season (September 23-October 31). Additional hours before and after the season may be required.
  • Learn, operate and troubleshoot the Clover POS system and other retail systems, including the Bear Factory system as needed.
  • Assist with training new team members on cashiering, pumpkin sizing, customer service, and department procedures.
  • Lead daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, stocking merchandise, organizing displays, cleaning, and maintaining assigned retail areas.
  • Create and manage team break schedules while ensuring adequate coverage throughout the day.
  • Make customer service decisions, including processing refunds, exchanges, coupons, and resolving guest concerns in accordance with farm policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
  • Assist in multiple retail areas as needed, including Pumpkin Sizing, Produce, Gem Mining, Paintball Shack, Bear Factory, and the General Store.
  • Ensure equipment and point-of-sale systems are operating properly and report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Foster a positive, energetic work environment while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting with high guest interaction.

Successful candidates are dependable, organized, comfortable making decisions, enjoy leading others, work well under pressure, and have a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests of all ages.
Requirements
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and enjoy working with the public.
  • Neat, clean, energetic, reliable, punctual, and honest.
  • At least 18 years old by September 1, 2026.
  • Some positions require proof of a valid driver's license upon employment offer.
  • Regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms.
  • Requirement to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and sit regularly.
  • Working on your feet for extended periods.
  • Specific vision abilities needed: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The position may involve lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Moderate to high noise level.
  • Consistently able to communicate with customers.
