Job description

We are looking for a painter / assembler.  The primary responsibility of the selected applicant will to clean, prime and painting the metal fabrications we manufacture using rollers, brushes and similar equipment.  This person will also assist in mechanical assembly of the equipment we manufacture and should be comfortable working with hand and power tools.  Applicants should be comfortable using a manlift and ladder to work at heights up to 15'.  Applicants must also be able or willing to learn the operation of cranes and forklifts.
Responsibilities:          
 
·         Comfortable working with power tools and equipment
·         Ability to lift up to 50lbs
·         Comfort working with chemicals, primer and paint.
·         Desire for cross training to learn multiple skill sets
·         Computer competent
·         Strong problem solver
·         Ability to carefully read, review and follow detailed written instructions
 
Qualifications:   
·         Ability to learn or read drawings / manufacturing prints
·         Understanding of hand and power tools
·         Mechanical Assembly
·         At least 18 year of age or older
·         Availability Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm
