Job description

 

      POSITION TITLE: Hardware

      DEPARTMENT: Tarter Manufacturing

      REPORTS TO: David Wray

      STATUS: Full Time Hourly Position

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

Identify finished products and quickly adhere/Install the appropriate labels and hardware In accordance with the product bill of material.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Includes the following (other duties may be documented and assigned by management, and some duties may not apply dependent upon the requirements of the position at each specific Tarter site and/or the strengths of the employee and the needs of the company):

  • Identify finished product and attach appropriate labels and hardware according to specifications.
  • Maintain adequate materials available for the continued process on the paint line.
  • Knowledge of the 5S system.
  • Maintain work area In accordance with 5S system.
  • Report any abnormalities to the paint line supervisor.

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT: 

Knowledge, skills & abilities: Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Effective interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills required. This position performs job duties in an ethical and professional manner. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities the ability to perform the essential functions.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic math and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of basic hand power tools
  • Ability to bend and/or kneel throughout the normal shift.
  • Proper PPE must be utilized at all times while In the production area.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • The majority of the work will be conducted on the paint line. Temperature conditions are weather dependent. Some work will be conducted outside throughout the year. Work may be fast paced.
