Paint Line Lead - Set Up Operator

1st Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)

$22.52/hour

The Job:

As a Paint Line Setup Operator, you'll be part of our Shelbyville Manufacturing team working as an on-site employee.

You'll get to:

  • Set-up and operation of Recip Saw Blade Paint Line at a productive rate, maintaining quality levels according to control plans, and using safe work ethic (PPE, SDS and machine hazards).
  • Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean machines and equipment as needed while maintaining proper flow of product to meet service level goals
  • Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates, exemplifying 6S principals
  • Ensure all products meet specifications, maintain quality standards of product following quality assurance on FPI
  • Properly fill out all documentation and labels
  • Properly handle all scrap, rework, and mixed product
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Ability to use and operate basic tools, equipment, & gages

  • Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality
  • Flexibility to work overtime
