Painter - Cedar Falls, IA
Payrate: $18.85 Hourly
1st Shift: Either 8 hour days (4:45am to 1:15pm) or 10 hour days (4:45am to 3:15pm)
As a Painter you will be a crucial part of our operations! Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Primary Responsibilities
  • Be able to paint all parts to an acceptable standard
  • Know how to do a viscosity test
  • Know how to adjust volumes and the viscosity of paint
  • Know how to add paint and catalyze per system
  • Know how and where to document the different procedures.
  • Know how to use the MSDS book
  • Know how to change fluid filters
  • Do equipment adjustments and minor repairs.
  • Maintain a clean work area to meet the 5S standard.
  • Do routine clean-up of paint equipment.
  • Assist in troubleshooting problems during paint operations
  • Rework any paint defects as soon as they are discovered.
  • Attention to detail
  • Keep a positive, upbeat attitude

Qualifications
  • Industrial Painting experience is preferred
  • Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to wear a full paint suit, including a hood
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
