What is a paid training with relocation?

A Paid Training With Relocation job is a position where the employer provides both compensation during a training period and financial or logistical assistance to help you move to a new location for work. These roles are often designed for candidates starting new careers or joining specific industries, such as technology, sales, or skilled trades. The employer typically covers moving expenses or offers a relocation package, making it easier to transition to the new job. This type of opportunity is ideal for individuals who are willing to move for a career change or advancement while receiving necessary training and support.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in a paid training position with relocation opportunities?

To thrive in a paid training position with relocation, you generally need a willingness to learn, adaptability, and a foundational background related to the industry or job. Familiarity with industry-specific software, learning management systems, or any required certifications can be advantageous. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and resilience help individuals adjust quickly to new environments and team dynamics. These skills ensure a smooth transition, maximize learning during training, and support long-term success in the new location.

What should I expect in terms of support and resources when relocating for a paid training program?

When relocating for a paid training program, employers typically provide a combination of financial assistance and logistical support, such as covering moving expenses, temporary housing, or a relocation stipend. You can expect dedicated HR or relocation coordinators to help guide you through the process, answer questions, and connect you with local resources. Additionally, orientation sessions and mentorship are often included to help you settle into your new environment and succeed during training. It's helpful to communicate any specific needs early so the company can offer the most effective support.

Do you have a mechanical mindset and enjoy troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and working independently?
Auto-Chlor System is hiring a Field Service Technician to support commercial customers throughout the Phoenix area. You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial dishwashing and dispensing equipment while managing your own service area and building relationships with customers.
No commercial dishwashing experience? That's okay. We provide paid, hands-on training. We're looking for someone who already enjoys working with their hands, solving mechanical problems, and figuring out how things work.
What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial dishwashing and dispensing equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in the field
  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
  • Install and replace equipment and components as needed
  • Manage your daily service schedule and assigned territory
  • Communicate with restaurant and commercial customers about equipment and service needs
  • Drive a company vehicle to customer locations throughout the Phoenix area
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule after training

Who We're Looking For
You don't need experience with our specific equipment. We're looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and a willingness to learn.
Experience in areas such as automotive repair, HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair, equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance, installation, or other hands-on mechanical work can translate well into this position.
You should be comfortable working independently, interacting with customers, using basic hand and power tools, and learning how to diagnose equipment problems in the field.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting pay: $27/hour
  • Typical first-year earnings: $68,000-$78,000 with overtime and on-call pay
  • Monday-Friday schedule

  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time
  • Career advancement opportunities

Build a Long-Term Career
This isn't just another repair job. You'll learn specialized commercial equipment, develop stronger troubleshooting skills, manage your own service area, and have opportunities to grow within a company that has been serving customers for more than 85 years.
If you're mechanically inclined, dependable, comfortable working with customers, and looking for a hands-on career with room to grow, we'd like to hear from you.
