Overview

The Analyst, Paid Search is responsible for monitoring and maintaining media campaign development and activation on search channels. The ideal candidate requires proficiency in math, strong analytical skills, attention to detail as well as creativity and an overall interest in and understanding of how consumers leverage search media in the decision path. 

Responsibilities
  • Gather research necessary to build a new campaign 
  • Assist the manager in gathering necessary data for plan development 
  • Generate paperwork necessary for purchase authorization and ensure vendor counter signature is received 
  • Primary party responsible for trafficking approved plan 
  • Monitor and maintain campaign budgets, pacing and bid adjustments 
  • Active monitoring and management of performance and competitive landscape 
  • Monitor and optimize paid search performance to meet business objectives 
  • Develop and implement optimization recommendations and/or testing plans
  • Utilize bid management tools as well as Google, Bing and Oath paid search platforms to build campaigns, implement optimizations, pull reporting, and QA campaigns 
  • Pull and analyze data to inform campaign reporting and help to build insights 
  • Maintain monthly billing and partner with client strategy and billing reconciliation team to reconcile discrepancies
  • Learn all relevant tools for reporting, analytics and competitive analysis - bid management platforms, Tableau, Google Trends 
  • Work closely with manager to establish priorities and manage workload 
  • Timely delivery of all work 
  • Stay informed on search industry trends and new tools and ad formats 
  • Successful completion of training programs and requisite certifications 
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and client groups 
Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in bid management, paid search and/or paid social campaign development/management/optimization with the use of leading search platforms  
  • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills and an ability to manage data 
  • Understanding of Search PPC and digital display advertising 
  • Resourceful, curious, and motivated individual with an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate to advanced understanding of Excel

Compensation Range: $49,305 - $65,415 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
