About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Paid Search Manager to take ownership of the paid search channel from strategy and hands-on campaign management through lead quality, revenue attribution, and performance reporting.
This is a working manager role for someone who is comfortable operating directly in advertising platforms while also setting channel strategy, building a testing roadmap, managing partners, and communicating performance to marketing leadership.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, commercially minded, and accountable for outcomes beyond the initial lead.
What You'll Do
  • Own paid search performance across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including budgets, pacing, forecasting, and overall channel performance.
  • Build, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns hands-on, including keyword strategy, match types, bidding, audiences, ad copy, extensions, and negative keyword management.
  • Conduct regular account audits and quality reviews to ensure campaigns are structured and managed to a high standard.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce reporting that tracks performance beyond the initial click, including lead-to-appointment, appointment-to-close, customer acquisition cost, and return on ad spend.
  • Analyze performance across campaigns, ad groups, keywords, devices, and geographies.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance reporting to marketing leadership, with clear insights, recommendations, and supporting analysis.
  • Own the testing roadmap across keywords, creative, landing pages, bidding strategies, audiences, and emerging platform capabilities.
  • Partner with creative and web teams on landing page, messaging, and offer testing.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to connect lead quality and advertising performance to closed revenue.
  • Manage paid search buyers and external agencies or contractors, establishing clear standards and accountability for execution.
  • Monitor competitive activity and auction dynamics to identify opportunities for profitable incremental investment.
What You Bring
  • 4+ years of hands-on paid search management experience, preferably managing significant monthly media budgets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with the ability to build and manage campaigns directly and audit the work of other practitioners.
  • Experience building and maintaining Salesforce reports and dashboards independently.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Excel or Google Sheets, GA4, attribution, offline conversion imports, and call tracking.
  • Experience working in high-consideration, lead-generation, or regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, legal, or healthcare.
  • Experience managing agencies, contractors, media buyers, or direct reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to turn performance data into clear business recommendations.
  • A results-oriented approach and comfort being accountable for channel performance and revenue outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in financial services, retirement, IRA, or precious metals.
  • Familiarity with advertising and compliance considerations for financial products.
  • Experience with SQL, Looker, or similar analytics tools.
