Paid Influencer information

What is a paid influencer?

Paid influencers are individuals who collaborate with brands and businesses to promote products or services on their social media platforms, blogs, or other online channels in exchange for monetary compensation. They leverage their online presence, follower base, and credibility to influence purchasing decisions among their audience. These partnerships can involve creating sponsored content, reviews, product placements, or participating in marketing campaigns. The amount paid to influencers often depends on factors like their reach, engagement rate, and the scope of the campaign.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a paid influencer?

To thrive as a Paid Influencer, you need a solid understanding of social media platforms, content creation, personal branding, and audience engagement, usually demonstrated through a strong follower base and proven track record. Proficiency with analytics tools, content scheduling platforms, and photo/video editing software is typically required. Creativity, authenticity, adaptability, and excellent communication skills help influencers stand out in building genuine connections with their audience and brands. These skills are crucial for consistently producing engaging content, growing your influence, and maintaining successful partnerships with brands.

How do paid influencers typically collaborate with brands and what are some common expectations during these partnerships?

Paid influencers often partner with brands through sponsored content agreements, where they're expected to create authentic posts, stories, or videos that align with the brand’s message. Communication and transparency are key, as influencers usually work closely with brand representatives or marketing agencies to ensure deliverables meet campaign goals and compliance guidelines. Common expectations include meeting deadlines, following content briefs, and providing performance analytics. Flexibility and professionalism help build long-term relationships, which can lead to ongoing campaigns or ambassador roles.

Paid Influencers focus on promoting products through paid collaborations on social media, often working with brands and agencies. Content Creators produce original content across various platforms, sometimes monetizing through ads or sponsorships but not necessarily paid campaigns. While both roles involve online content creation, Paid Influencers are specifically engaged in paid promotional activities, whereas Content Creators may work independently or for different purposes.

Job description

Who We Are:

Nutrabolt is a fast-growing, global active health and wellness company with a portfolio of market leading performance-oriented brands that energize and fuel active lifestyles. The company's disruptive and innovative products compete in the Functional Beverage and Active Nutrition segments, under three consumer-loved brands: C4 (one of the fastest-growing energy drink brands in the United States and the #1 selling global pre-workout brand), XTEND (the #1 post-workout recovery brand in the United States), and Cellucor (an award-winning sports nutrition brand created in 2002).

Since its founding 20 years ago, Nutrabolt has set out to meet the discerning needs of performance athletes and fitness enthusiasts, while appealing beyond this core group to include consumers around the globe who are making healthy, active living a daily priority.

As a Certified Great Place to Work, Top Workplaces USA honoree, Fortune Best Workplace in Texas, and more - Nutrabolt cares deeply about our people, planet, and the communities we serve. Here, our teammates are united by our mission, and take ownership in creating a healthy workplace environment that promotes strong bodies, clear minds, and a culture of respect and belonging for all.

Who You Are:

As Team C4 scales its paid creator investment, we're hiring a Paid Influencer Coordinator, C4 Energy to help run the day-to-day engine behind our macro and nano creator tiers across national retail campaigns - sourcing and vetting talent, negotiating and contracting deals, briefing creators, and owning the reporting that tells us whether the program is working.
Candidates must be located in the Austin, TX area. This role is scheduled through the end of 2026.

What You're Good At:

  • Source and vet macro and nano creators across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube against proven average views, content fit, and audience trust.

  • Negotiate and contract nano partnerships end to end, 30-50 per month, against an established rate card.

  • Prepare and submit contract requests for macro partnerships, including deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, and whitelisting terms.

  • Write and distribute creator briefs, and serve as the day-to-day point of contact for creator questions.

  • Run the content approval workflow: route drafts for review, manage revision rounds, and escalate claims or compliance risk to the Influencer Marketing Lead.

  • Capture live links at post and maintain accurate posts-live tracking against contracted deliverables.

  • Build and deliver monthly performance reporting.

  • Identify top-performing seeding and nano creators as candidates for the C4 ambassador program.

What You Contribute:

  • 1-2 years running or supporting influencer and creator programs, ideally in CPG, energy drinks/beverage, or sports nutrition.

  • Hands-on negotiation experience across rates, deliverables, usage rights, and exclusivity.

  • Deep fluency with the TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube creator ecosystems and what actually performs on each.

  • Comfort with high-volume contracting, and the organizational discipline to keep 100+ active creator relationships straight.

  • Ability to turn campaign data into a clear recommendation - which creators to re-sign, which tiers deserve more spend.

  • Working knowledge of FTC disclosure requirements, and comfort operating in a regulated category where product claims are scrutinized.

  • Experience with GRIN, CreatorCore, Tribe, or comparable influencer CRM and reporting platforms.
