The Office of Communications and Marketing is looking for a qualified work study student to
help our team complete various projects. In this role, you will help the art and design staff
conduct research, develop and execute publication layout design, create print and digital
designs, and assist with administrative tasks as necessary. It's a great opportunity for a student
to gain professional industry experience. A portfolio should be submitted for consideration.
Principal Responsibilities
- Assist with work/projects as instructed
- Create designs for print and digital applications
- Some photo editing and cataloging
- Contribute ideas and perspective
- Follow office policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and
Photoshop.
- Microsoft Office knowledge is necessary
- Experience with page layout and typography is recommended
- Ability to multitask is necessary
- Collaboration skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Responsible, able to work within deadlines
- Ability to handle private and confidential material and information
- Professionalism
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled as an ONU student
- Current enrollment in graphic design or a creative degree program is preferred, but not
required
- Good academic standing
