Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and scale AI-agent-assisted software development practices across engineering teams.
  • Design agentic coding workflows / loop engineering using Claude Code and similar tools.
  • Architect and implement MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and safe, well-defined tool schemas.
  • Establish human-in-the-loop checkpoints, autonomy boundaries, guardrails, and rollback strategies for AI-generated code.
  • Build evaluation frameworks and observability to measure agent output quality and identify regressions.
  • Define and review microservices and microfrontend architectures using C4 modeling and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Drive TDD, contract testing, and engineering quality practices across teams.
  • Provide technical leadership across Java, Node.js, React, and Python technologies.
  • Design REST APIs and headless architectures that support both developers and AI agents.
  • Establish secure CI/CD pipelines for agent-generated pull requests and production changes.
  • Define security controls for prompt injection, tool permissions, and agent autonomy.
  • Mentor senior/staff engineers and drive adoption of AI-augmented engineering practices.
  • Create RFCs, architecture documents, and technical design specifications for complex engineering problems.
